When the government mandated that brands build their Merdeka films around the theme of “Teguh Bersama”, we had a choice: roll with it or skip doing a film.
We did the former and did so with a metaphor so befitting, the mandate felt like a blessing.

Is this true, though? Or is it, like so many inspirational quotes, a work of feel-good fiction?
We found the answer on Deepavali, when we asked a group of orphans to cancel their celebrations to take care of some forgotten old folks.

When Covid started to go away, the people’s fears didn’t.
They remained cautious of travelling, which was no way to usher in Chinese New Year after two long years of non-celebration.
In order to recreate the festive excitement, we brought back the good times – through the sounds of nostalgia.

People who can bake feel superior to those who can’t, and they’re not shy to flaunt that to guests.
In the spirit of fairness, we came up with Snickers-infused recipes designed for the latter to do the one thing they never managed to: show off.

But what more besides battling sleep or skipping out on work? This World Cup, Tiger Beer shows just how extreme fans can be.

And with the launch of the new Vanilla & Lime flavour, families had another thing to fight over.

What’s plan B when the biggest product collab of the year, Snickers X BTS, fail to generate the expected sales?
We turned a fan obsession – the worshipping and collecting of everything BTS – into an opportunity to reposition our wrappers as limited-edition collectibles.
As sales picked up and stocks ran low, we pivoted; ending the campaign with a series of videos that focused on the Snickers X BTS products as a whole (As opposed to the wrappers being collectibles).

Football fans are a colourful bunch.
They’re abrasive. Hopeful. Gloomy. Naïve. Loud. Illogical. Analytical. Sometimes, all at once.
To keep Tiger FC synonymous with football, we created an app – supported by a series of videos – that revealed to fans the classes that they truly belonged to.

The new Snickers Almond X Dark Chocolate had an interesting proposition: 2 smaller bars within 1 standard-sized bar.
No more fighting for your share because now, you can share.

The new Dazzle water purifier is small and stylish.
Its size - the smallest in the market - is a particular selling point, as it meant that the Dazzie could fit even the smallest kitchens (Which was the case in most homes).
To reinforce this USP, we went all in on its size, stylishly.

Being a “chicken” is bad. Normally. For it implies cowardice.
But April ‘20 is anything but normal.
The Covid-19 pandemic means that being a “chicken” is … good, because those who are not are the ones who get in trouble.
As a PSA/ fun lil’ project from BBDO, we want people to NOT play hero. We want them to #StayHome where it’s safe, not only for themselves but for others too.

Beyond its products, how else can Coway change the lives of its customers?
Knowing that it takes 66 days on average for change to happen, we created the brand’s first-ever reality show that took place over 2 months across 3 participants.

When Pokemon Go launched, fans went all out to catch ‘em all.
We, however, thought that their energy would be better spent at rescuing actual strays than catching virtual pets.
To send them a message, we went to where they were – Pokemon stations in malls and parks – and hijacked their hunting sessions, shifting their attention to animals that really needed it.

Size don’t always matter.
Sometimes, it's the smallest actions that leave the biggest impact. Like Digi's Cili Padi Internet pass, which offers 3GB for a mere RM3.

Car buyers didn’t use to think much of MINI.
To many, it was an overpriced and underpowered trophy car. Some even called it the “hairdresser’s choice”, such was its reputation.
That perception, however, was soon put to rest when we showed everyone just how powerful a MINI Cooper could be in the right hands.
